Swati B. is an experienced professional in portfolio management and research, currently serving as the Director of Portfolio Management at Amtrak since March 2024. In this role, Swati leads strategic development efforts and oversight of project planning to meet organizational goals. Swati has held various leadership positions, including Acting Director of Portfolio Management and Senior Program Manager, managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Prior to Amtrak, Swati spent two decades at Independent Project Analysis, where responsibilities included overseeing research and managing teams focused on capital project execution across multiple industries. Swati holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and two degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Mumbai.
