Tom Krotchko

Tom Krotchko has extensive experience in technology and management, currently serving as Senior Director of Digital Transformation, Architecture, Analytics, and Information Management at Amtrak since June 2000. Prior to this, Tom was Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture and Director of Web Architecture at Amtrak. Tom co-founded Comm Systems, Inc., where as President, focused on eCommerce and software assurance from October 1993 to May 2000. Earlier in Tom's career, significant roles included Senior Programmer/Analyst and Trainer at DBMI from March 1983 to 1993, and Programming Analyst at General Research, where optimization tools were developed for US Army planning. Tom began professional experiences as a System Developer at Morgan Knitting Mills in 1981. Tom Krotchko holds a Master of Science in IT Software Engineering from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University.
