Tracy Smith

Tracy Smith, JD, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources and Labor Relations professional with a focus on strategic business partnerships and dynamic employee development. Tracy has an extensive background in driving organizational change and fostering compliance in both public and private sectors. They served as Labor Relations Specialist and Human Resources Manager for Montgomery County Government from 2016 to 2019, followed by a role as Human Resources Director for the City of Takoma Park until 2022. Currently, Tracy holds the position of Director Human Resources Business Partner at Amtrak. They earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Business Administration from Illinois State University.
