Travis Hawken

Travis Hawken has extensive experience in various roles focusing on education, hospitality, and substance abuse prevention. Currently serving as a Relief Agent and Facilitator for Amtrak's Substance Abuse and Prevention Program since January 2012, Travis promotes healthy lifestyles and recovery among employees while enhancing workplace productivity. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Teacher Assistant at California State University, Northridge, where Travis supported diverse students in achieving academic goals and provided feedback on progress. Travis's earlier roles include working as a Banquet Server for California Events, catering to client satisfaction, and as a SKYCAP at Hollywood Burbank Airport, assisting guests with their transportation needs. Academically, Travis holds a Wellness Counseling Certificate from Cornell University, a Master of Science Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, and Recreation Management, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in the same field from California State University, Northridge, along with two Associate of Arts Degrees in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management and Psychology from College of the Canyons.
