Andrew Jacobson

Andrew Jacobson is currently the Head of Legal for Amun in the United States. Prior to this, they worked as Senior Associate with Seward & Kissel LLP, where they were a leading member of the Firm's Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Group. Andrew has also served as Special Counsel with the Moreland Commission on Utility Storm Preparation and Response, and as an Enforcement Attorney with the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Andrew has extensive experience in advising on key regulatory issues impacting the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology industries, including federal and state licensing, securities, and financial crimes. Andrew is also well-versed in economic sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, export control, and anti-boycott laws. The Legal 500 has commented that “Andrew leverages their extensive experience as an enforcement attorney to provide critical insights into the application of the law” and that they “has carved out an excellent sanctions practice in the U.S.”

Andrew Jacobson's educational career includes a Doctor of Law from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Union College.
