Raphael Sobotka

Raphael Sobotka, CFA, serves as the Global Head of Multi-Asset Flexible, Risk Premia and Retirement Solutions at Amundi since September 2014, overseeing $80 billion in assets under management. In this role, Raphael has successfully turned around multi-asset performances and strengthened alpha generation through innovative investment strategies. Prior to Amundi, Raphael held several key positions at HSBC Global Asset Management, including EMEA Chief Investment Officer for Multi-manager, where significant achievements included establishing a new asset management company and achieving top quartile performance rankings. Raphael began the career at UBS Investment Bank focusing on fixed-income research. Academic qualifications include multiple degrees from prominent institutions such as ENSAE Paris and INSEAD, cementing expertise in financial markets and economic analysis.
