Samuel Wright

Samuel Wright has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and risk management. Samuel is currently working at Amundi as the Deputy Head of Compliance since 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at J O Hambro Capital Management from 2017 to 2019. Samuel also served as a Senior Compliance Officer at GAM from 2013 to 2017. Samuel started their career at Fidelity International as an Associate in the AML department in 2006. Samuel then worked as a Compliance Analyst at UBS, Deutsche Bank, and Credit Suisse before joining Royal London Asset Management as a Risk & Compliance Consultant from 2009 to 2011. Later, they joined HSBC as an Assistant Manager in Compliance Monitoring from 2011 to 2013.

Samuel Wright obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Politics from the University of Warwick, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they also achieved two certifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. These include the CISI Level 3 Award in Risk in Financial Services and the CISI Level 3 Award in Combating Financial Crime. Apart from these certifications, Samuel has not yet obtained the Certificate in Investment Management (IMC) from the CFA Institute.
