Simon Matthews

Simon Matthews, CFA, currently serves as a Portfolio Manager at Amundi since August 2025. Prior experience includes a significant role at State Street Investment Management from October 2015 to August 2025, where responsibilities encompassed managing the New Ireland High Yield Dividend Fund and working as a Consumer Equity Analyst and value investor. Prior to that, Simon Matthews held various positions at Goodbody as an Equity Analyst (June 2014 - September 2015), UBS as an Executive Director and Director of Leveraged Finance Origination (July 2010 - June 2014), and UniCredit in roles of increasing responsibility within Leveraged Finance Origination from Analyst to Vice President (July 2005 - July 2010). Simon Matthews earned a BBS in Business & French from Trinity College Dublin between 1997 and 2001 and attended Gonzaga College from 1987 to 1997.
