Kapo B. has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields. In 2023, they joined Amunix Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager Global Project Manager. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Clinical Trial and Operation Manager at Neoleukin Therapeutics. From 2017 to 2022, Kapo held various roles at Seagen, including Sr. Manager, Biomarker Data Management, Manager, Biomarker Data Management, Biomarker Data Supervisor, and Clinical Data Associate II. Before joining Seagen, they worked as an Associate Scientist at SNBL USA from 2015 to 2017. From 2012 to 2015, Kapo served as a Biomedical Life Scientist - Task Order Manager at Leidos. They also gained experience as a Lab Specialist at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2009 to 2012, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from 2006 to 2009, and as an Undergraduate Research Student at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2008. In 2007, Kapo worked as a Pharmacy Sales Associate/Technician at CVS Pharmacy.

Kapo B. has a diverse education history. In 2001, they graduated from Gar-Field Senior High School. Kapo then attended Virginia Tech from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry.

Afterwards, Kapo pursued higher studies at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Later, in 2016, they attended the University of Washington for Project Management studies.

In addition to their formal education, Kapo has obtained various certifications. In 2013, they completed a course on Drug Discovery, Development, and a course on Nutrition for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. In 2014, they completed courses on Epidemiology: The Basic Science of Public Health and Introduction to Thermodynamics: Transferring Energy from Here to There. Furthermore, Kapo obtained certifications in Project Management from ALISON in 2016, and in Project Execution and Control from Everett Community College in 2017. Kapo also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in September 2017.
