Brian Scott has extensive experience in innovation and change management, with a focus on research, design, and development of innovative products and platforms. Brian has held leadership positions in companies such as Amway, where they were the Sr. Principal Research Scientist and Business Innovation Lead, and Seamless Accelerator, where they served as the Corporate Consortium Lead. Brian also has experience in workplace strategy, communications, and brand development from their time at Haworth, Inc. Prior to their corporate career, they served as a Combat Photographer in the United States Navy.
Brian Scott's education history begins in 1994 when they obtained a BA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Brian then pursued a BS in Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University, starting in 2000 and completing it in 2002. After that, Brian attended Western Michigan University from 2004 to 2007, earning an MA in Organizational Communication. In 2009, they enrolled at Cornell University, where they completed a Certification in Executive Change Leadership in 2010. Additionally, Brian has obtained several certifications, including a Business Innovation Certificate, Designing Strategy Certification, and Designing a Business Certification from IDEO U in March 2022. Brian also holds a Human Centered Design Certification from the LUMA Institute, although the dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
