Phil Carpenter

Phil Carpenter is a seasoned professional in systems support with a focus on Linux, UNIX, and AIX. They began their career as a Senior Manager at The Softwarehouse and transitioned to a Team Leader role at Fifth Third Bank. Phil later served as a Senior Unix Administrator at Vantiv before taking on the position of Sr Systems Support at Amway, where they work with Exadata, Big Data, and advanced virtualization technologies. In addition to their extensive work experience, Phil has also taught adult education courses at Grand Rapids Community College. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Davenport University and continue to pursue education at Western Michigan University.
