Shane Curran

Shane Curran is an experienced professional in marine biology and animal training, with a career spanning various roles in both the private and aquatic sectors. Currently an Independent Business Owner at Amway since September 2019, Shane has also been a Dive Technician at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium since July 2018 and an Assistant Trainer at Kottaun Dog Training since October 2013, focused on positive training techniques for pets and their owners. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Marine Mammal Trainer 2 at SAIC, managing operations as Department Head at Sport Chalet, and working as an Aquarist at Mystic Aquarium, where responsibilities included animal health monitoring and training new personnel. Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Maine at Machias, earned in 2007.
