Dawn Cox

Dawn Cox has a diverse range of work experience in the field of pharmacovigilance and healthcare. Dawn is currently working as the Lead of Pharmacovigilance Operations at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director of Global Case Processing Pharmacovigilance at UBC from June 2020 to December 2022. In this role, they supervised a team and ensured regulatory compliance for adverse event reporting.

Before joining UBC, Dawn worked as the Manager of Global Case Processing-Pharmacovigilance at United Biosoource (UBC) from May 2016 to June 2020. Dawn also has experience as a Senior Safety Scientist at United Biosource from January 2011 to May 2016. In these roles, they had various responsibilities such as processing and evaluating adverse event reports, ensuring data accuracy, conducting literature reviews, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Dawn's earlier career includes a role as a Call Center MS Nurse at Teva Pharmaceuticals from October 2009 to January 2011 and as an RN at Rockhill Women's Care from November 2006 to October 2009. These experiences highlight their diverse background in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Dawn Cox holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from William Jewell College, which they obtained in 2006. Dawn previously pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at DeVry University from 1998 to 2001. Before that, they earned an Associate's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from Texas State Technical College Harlingen, which they completed in 1995.
