Benjamin Groves

Benjamin Groves is an Associate Director at Amyris, where responsibilities include leading the Genomics team and engaging in data science and machine learning related to enzyme engineering since March 2018. Prior to this role, Benjamin held various positions at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington, including Data Scientist III, Scientist III, Scientist II, and Postdoctoral Fellow, from March 2011 to March 2018. Benjamin earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, from 2004 to 2010.
