Deborah Post

Deborah Post is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in process analytical chemistry and host-pathogen interactions. Currently serving as Associate Director and Senior Scientist at Amyris since March 2018, Deborah has contributed to advancements in the field through a variety of roles, including Scientist 3. Prior to this, Deborah worked at The Buck Institute from April 2002 to March 2018 as Staff Scientist and Staff Research Investigator, where responsibilities included leading experimental designs and utilizing mass spectrometry techniques to study bacterial pathogenesis. Deborah's early career included postdoctoral fellowships and graduate research at the University of Iowa, focusing on molecular microbiology and cellular biology. Deborah holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, and Business from Graceland University.
