Eric Huang has worked at several companies since 2015. Eric began their career at Redwood City Auto Body Inc. as an Autobody Assistant in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Student Researcher at Skyline College, where they developed a strong background knowledge of membrane proteins, cancer cell development and biotechnology skills. From 2018 to 2019, Eric worked as a Lab Associate at Zwieniecki Lab, where they performed colorimetric analysis and sugar extraction to analyze non-structural carbohydrates from almond, pistachio and walnut samples. Eric also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Systems Microbiology and Natural Products Group, where they performed research on development of synthetic microbial communities in swine. In 2019, they worked as a Research Associate at Zymergen. In 2020, Eric worked as a Manufacturing Associate at Pendulum Therapeutics. Currently, they are an Associate Scientist III and II at Amyris.
Eric Huang attended Skyline College from 2014 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Natural Sciences and an Associate of Science - AS in Interdisciplinary Studies, Letters and Science. Eric then attended the University of California, Davis from 2017 to 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biotechnology- Microbiology and Fermentation.
