Kim C.

Kim C. has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Student Assistant 3 role at UC Davis Nutrition Department in 2010. In 2006, Kim C. worked as a Veterinary Technician Assistant at Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic, where they restrained animals, assisted veterinarians and technicians, walked, fed and cleaned animals cages, and restocked and sterilized equipment for surgery.

From 2012 to 2016, Kim C. worked at Genentech in several roles, including Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician, Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician Lead, Research Assistant in the Genetic Analysis Lab, and Student Co-op. Most recently, Kim C. worked at Amyris from 2016 to present in the roles of Senior Software Engineer, Technical Product Manager, Software Engineer, and Associate Scientist, Automated Strain Engineering. In the Technical Product Manager role, Kim C. prioritized potential projects and tasks according to the group's priorities, determined who will work on a given task, and worked with infrastructure project leads to come up with a project proposal and realistic project plans.

Kim C. attended Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Biotechnology in Bioinformatics. Kim then attended University of California, Davis from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.
