Ric Erdman started his business career in 1973 as a consultant with Arthur Andersen in New York City. He has raised more than $20 million in venture capital for companies he has founded and operated. Erdman has been the president of companies that have ranged from $1 million to $100 million in sales, including Digital Automotive Systems, Tylan General and OmniPulse Technology. He was a CEO in Residence at Enterprise Partners Venture Capital from 1999 to 2000. He has been a licensed professional engineer in California since 1982. Erdman is active in the San Diego chapter of YPO Gold, and is a trustee of the Bishop’s School in La Jolla, California.
