Mohit Prateek has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2020. In 2010, they completed an internship with Professor Anil Gupta at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. In 2011, they worked as a Summer Research Student at the University of Alberta. In 2013, they worked as a Data Scientist at Imagna Analytics. In 2014, they worked as an Analyst and Graduate Trainee at Flipkart, where they analyzed and negotiated third-party logistics cost and created and implemented a dynamic pricing system for laptops. In 2015, they founded Oxygen Adventures, India's first adventure activity marketplace with focus on safety, which served thousands of customers. Mohit then pivoted the company to an adventure insurance company. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant, Advisor, Founder, and Investor for a bunch of startups. Also in 2018, they founded Zipycars, where they raised an angel round to sell cars online at 10% lesser cost by saving on showrooms' rent and by partnering with a senior manager at Ford Motor Company, China. In 2020, they founded Anakin (YC S21) and is currently serving as the Founder and CEO.

Mohit Prateek is currently enrolled in the S21 program at Y Combinator. Prior to this, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they completed a Bachelor of Technology and Masters of Technology in Chemical Engineering between 2009 and 2014.
