Daniel Cheng is an experienced engineering professional specializing in analog design. Currently serving as Director of Analog Design Engineering at Analog Devices since March 2017, Daniel leads and mentors a team of IC design engineers in the development of high-performance monolithic step-down switching regulators for various markets, including automotive and industrial sectors. Prior to this role, Daniel was a Senior Design Engineer at Linear Technology from July 2007 until the acquisition by Analog Devices in 2017, where contributions included the co-invention of the "Silent Switcher" technology. Daniel holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, and a Certificate in Engineering Leadership from Cornell University.
