David Smith

David Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic consulting and academia. Currently serving as Vice President at Analysis Group since August 2013, David specializes in providing economic, financial, and strategic analysis, as well as expert testimony to various sectors including law firms, corporations, and government agencies. David holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, with primary fields in Industrial Organization and Financial Economics, and has lectured in undergraduate microeconomics. Previous roles include positions as Senior Analyst at Analysis Group, Analyst at JPMorgan, and a Summer Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, among others. David completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Pomona College and has also studied at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the University of Oxford.
