Jeff Cohen

Jeff Cohen is a Democratic candidate for Congress in IL-09 and an experienced economist with a robust background in legal, public policy, and business issues. They have worked with various public and private organizations, including the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, focusing on industries reliant on intangible assets, such as healthcare and technology. Currently, Jeff co-owns the Chicago Union, a professional ultimate frisbee franchise, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Digestive Health Foundation. An accomplished songwriter since the 1990s, Jeff has created music for many indie bands and labels throughout their career. They are also pursuing an MBA in Finance and Strategy at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business while holding a BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
