Roger Woods

Roger Woods is a highly accomplished academic and industry leader, holding prestigious titles such as FREng, MRIA, FIEEE, and FIET. They served as a Senior Lecturer and later a Professor of Computer Hardware at Queen's University Belfast, where their research focused on advanced computing architectures and intelligent systems. In 2021, they became the Dean of Research at the university, aiming to enhance its global recognition in research and innovation. Their experience also includes roles as Chief Scientist and Chief Technology Officer at Analytics Engines, where they specialized in data analytics and hardware acceleration, and as CEO of CapnaDSP, which developed DSP integration tools.
