Valter Junior's work experience includes a role as a Cloud Security Analyst at Analytics2Go - AI Business Apps starting in September 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at Empresa de Transportes Andorinha S.A. for 18 years as a Network Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for managing servers and IT infrastructure. Valter worked on various projects, including constant upgrades of IT resources and server virtualization using Oracle VM and later migrating to VMware. Their tenure at the company lasted from August 2002 to May 2020.

Additionally, Valter Junior worked as a Professor (Monitor of Professional Education) at Senac Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial for six months in 2008.

Valter Junior earned a degree in Tecnologia da Informação (Information Technology) from Universidade do Oeste Paulista, from the years 2003 to 2006.

Later, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued a degree in Redes de Sistemas e Telecomunicações (Network Systems and Telecommunications) at UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina.

In 2019, Valter Junior attended Universidade do Oeste Paulista once again, this time focusing on Segurança da Informação (Information Security), and obtained a degree as Especialista em Segurança da Informação (Specialist in Information Security) in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Valter Junior has also obtained various certifications. Valter received the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in August 2022. Earlier, in April 2022, they earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from the same institution. Valter Junior plans to pursue the Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in April 2023.

Valter Junior acquired several certifications from the Linux Professional Institute (LPI). Valter obtained their LPIC-1 - Linux Administrator certification in July 2009. In September 2013, they achieved the LPIC-2 Linux Engineer certification, and in June 2018, they obtained the LPIC-3 Enterprise Professional Security certification.
