Jim Gable

Jim Gable has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jim began their career as an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 1982 to 1984. Jim then joined Apple Computer, where they served as Vice President SW Product Marketing from 1986 to 1998. At Apple, they managed product managers responsible for various software products and had a significant impact on the success of Mac OS 8 and Rhapsody.

In 1998, Jim co-founded Kerbango, an Internet radio start-up, where they served as the President. Jim played a crucial role in building the world's first standalone Internet radio device. After Kerbango, Jim joined 3Com in 2000 and served as Vice President of the consumer products division. Jim was involved in the acquisition of Kerbango and acted as the VP of marketing for the larger Residential Connectivity Group.

From 2008 to 2011, Jim worked as an Advisor to the CEO at Hillcrest Labs, a leading global supplier of software and hardware for sensor-enabled products. Jim provided guidance in developing their Freespace technology for motion-sensing systems in smart TVs.

Jim joined Comcast Cable in 2013 as the Executive Director of CoMPASS Software. Jim led Product Management for the Compass group, which provided data and discovery services for the Xfinity X1 platform and other Comcast products.

In 2018, Jim became a member of the Use Case Committee on Comms & Security (QED-C), an initiative created by Congress to advance quantum technologies in the US. Jim served as the Committee Chairman for the first two years.

Before their current role, Jim worked at Guillermin & Gable, LLC as a Principal from 2006 to 2017. As an individual investor and senior advisor, they focused on Internet-related businesses and served as a consultant to Artificial Solutions.

In 2017, Jim became the President of Anametric, Inc., where they currently hold a position.

Later, from 1984 to 1986, Jim attended Harvard Business School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration.
