John Suh

John Suh is currently the Executive Director at Ananda Scientific. Prior to this, they were the CEO and founder of StudioDirect from 2000 to 2003, and the CEO and founder of Castling Group from 1997 to 2000. From January 2005 to December 2021, they served as Senior Advisor and then CEO/Executive Chairman of LegalZoom.

Suh has been instrumental in the success of each of these companies. At StudioDirect, they created one of the first e-commerce marketplaces for custom made products. This allowed customers to order custom products without having to go through a retailer. Castling Group was an early pioneer in online lead generation, developing technology that connected businesses with consumers who were actively searching for their services online.

As CEO of LegalZoom, Suh took the company from a startup to one of the most recognized legal brands in America. LegalZoom continues to provide convenient and affordable legal solutions to small businesses and families via its platform of technology and network of independent lawyers. Under Suh's leadership, LegalZoom raised $1M of primary capital since inception while providing over $2B in liquidity to employees, investors, and founders.

John Suh attended Harvard University, where they earned an AB in Organizational Behavior and Public Policy. John then went on to earn an MBA from Harvard Business School.
