Senior Product Development Scientist at Anaphite

Andy Searle is currently a Senior Product Development Scientist at Anaphite. Andy has over 9 years of experience as a Materials Scientist, during which time they have developed novel anode materials for sodium-ion batteries, developed a new slurry formulation using conducting polymer binders, and created novel thin film devices for various high-tech applications. Andy has also characterized the electrical properties of a wide variety of materials using several spectroscopic techniques. In addition to their work as a Materials Scientist, Andy has also served as a Social Secretary, responsible for organizing social events within companies to boost employee morale and enhance team building skills. Andy has successfully organized regular badminton events in addition to go-karting.

Andy Searle is a materials scientist who earned their Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) from the University of Oxford. Andy also holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Materials Science from the same school.

Andy Searle reports to Joe Stevenson, CEO. They work with David Inwood - Cell Testing Lead, Gary Baker - Head of Quality, and Callum Chisnall - Junior Research Scientist.
