Russell Cooper

Russell Cooper is an experienced laboratory manager currently leading efforts at Anaphite since November 2022, focusing on the development of high-performance battery cells to support sustainability initiatives. Prior to Anaphite, Russell held the position of Senior Materials Engineer at YASA, contributing to electric and hybrid vehicle technologies, and served as a Cell Manufacturing Engineer specializing in metallurgy at Ceres Power. Russell's background includes a materials engineer role at Safran and extensive experience at Altran, where services were provided for inspections and evaluations on various materials, particularly in line with REACH objectives. Additional experience includes working as a Materials Engineer for the Williams F1 Racing Team and a Hydraulics Technician. Russell graduated from Brunel University London with a BEng in Materials Engineering with Management, focusing on the structure and properties of diverse materials.
