Simon Ayres

Simon Ayres has extensive experience in sales and account management, with a strong focus on enterprise solutions and big data. Currently serving as an Enterprise Account Executive at Anaplan, Simon works to expand the company's presence in Western Australia and support enterprise customers in various industries, including Resources, Finance, and Utilities, since November 2020. Prior experience includes notable roles at Databricks, where Simon achieved 195% of sales target, and Hortonworks, spearheading big data software sales. With a solid foundation in leveraging data solutions from previous positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP, as well as management roles at Alphawest and IBM, Simon has consistently exceeded sales targets throughout a career spanning over three decades. Simon holds a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Western Australia.
