Leonardo Annese

Leonardo Annese is an experienced professional with a robust background in road safety and international relations. Currently serving as a member of the technical committee on Road Safety for the PIARC - World Road Association since May 2013, Leonardo also holds the position of Project Manager for marketing communication, focusing on promotional strategies, international events, and publishing for the association. In addition to these roles, Leonardo is the Group Head of a working group on ethics, social aspects, safety, and mobility of Automated Driving. With a long tenure at ANAS S.p.A. since January 1992, roles have included Senior Administrative Officer and leader of international associations. Leonardo actively contributes to the Consulta Cittadina per la Sicurezza Stradale in Rome, aiming to enhance road safety and promote sustainable mobility. Past experiences also involve coordination and communication roles with various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Educational qualifications include a degree in International Relations from the Facoltà di Scienze politiche "Cesare Alfieri" in Florence.
