D B.

D B. has worked in the research and development field since 1981. Starting as a Senior Research Associate at Molecular Genetics, D B. has moved up through the ranks of various companies, including Monsanto, Life Technologies (formerly Invitrogen), Affomix, Illumina, AxioMx Inc, and Ancera. At Monsanto, D B. was a Senior Research Associate on an analytical team responsible for measuring nutritional components of grain. At Life Technologies (formerly Invitrogen), D B. was a Senior Research Associate Scientist, optimizing assays utilizing protein microarrays and focusing on immune response biomarker profiling and protein-protein interactions. D B. was also a Senior Research Associate Scientist at Affomix, and a Senior Research Associate at Illumina and AxioMx Inc. Currently, D B. is a Sr Scientist at Ancera.

D.B. attended Luther College from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a BA in Biology. They then attended the University of New Haven from 1996 to 1997, studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. Lastly, they attended the University of Connecticut from 1997 to 2000, studying Biochemistry and Math.
