Billy Hunter

Billy Hunter is an accomplished staff front-end web developer and UX designer with over a decade of experience at Ancestry, where significant contributions include reinventing the AncestryDNA matches experience and developing innovative search tools utilizing AI. Previous roles at Ancestry include senior front-end web developer, user experience designer, and front-end web developer, where responsibilities ranged from enhancing user experiences to building marketing web pages with precision. Prior to Ancestry, Billy gained experience as a professional e-commerce seller with Amazon and held web development positions at UC Irvine Medical Center, The Generations Network, and Logoworks by HP. Billy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Communication Technology from Utah Valley University and an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science from Ventura College.
