Eric Troff, CPA, has a robust background in accounting and finance, currently serving as Senior Manager in Technical Accounting at Ancestry since June 2018, where previous roles included Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. Prior to Ancestry, Eric was a Senior Revenue Accountant at Sorenson Media, focusing on ASC 606 compliance and contract negotiations. Eric's career began at EY, where experiences ranged from Assurance Senior, performing comprehensive audits across multiple industries, to Audit Intern, conducting substantive testing. Additional experience includes consulting for Freestyle Sushi and working as an Accountant for Wade Auto Group. Eric holds a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Snow College.
