Jeff Heaps

Jeff Heaps is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in content publishing and project management. Currently serving as Sr Director of Global Operations and Content Publishing at Ancestry since November 2011, Jeff oversees the implementation of long and short-term plans for content on the site. Prior roles at Ancestry include Director of Content Data & Publishing and Senior Manager of Imaging Business Operations, where Jeff managed significant improvements in historical document imaging processes and led a team of over 100 employees. Earlier career experience includes serving as VP of Operations & Sales at Envision Development, where Jeff managed the operations of a multi-million dollar development and construction firm, and as Department Manager at Action Target, where Jeff implemented cost-reduction strategies that significantly lowered expenses. Jeff holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business.
