John Gammon

John Gammon is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, as Senior Director and Global Controller at Ancestry, a position held since September 2013, John has successfully led the early adoption of ASC 606 and managed teams across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. Prior to Ancestry, John served as Sr. Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis at Medicis and held multiple roles in finance and assurance at Ernst & Young LLP. John holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University, completed between 1999 and 2004.
