John Milly

John Milly is an experienced UX designer with a strong background in leading design teams and product strategies. Currently serving as Principal UX Designer at Ancestry since October 2019, John previously held roles including Manager of Web Design at Ellie Mae, where management of a web design team focused on creating a comprehensive design system for the home mortgage industry. Prior positions include UI/UX Designer at Viewpost, where John's leadership in redesigning an interactive UI dashboard enhanced customer engagement, and Visual Designer at Elementum SCM, contributing to feature strategy and product road mapping. Additionally, John worked as Senior Visual Designer at Accela, Inc. on the flagship Civic Platform 8.0 and co-founded Hundred10 Design, LLC, a digital agency that developed apps and websites for diverse clients. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Fresno.
