Anchor Schools is an education and community development advisory firm. We offer a whole-school approach and strategic solutions through leader and learner workshops and coaching, project and curriculum design, tools and resources, and an alliance of school-community stakeholders.

The Anchor Schools Project works with schools to actualize their missions and create sustainable futures by transforming the role they play in their community. We believe
… student learning becomes transformational when a school is deeply integrated with its community
… schools that model compassion, inclusive local engagement, and equity-informed social impact see those values reflected in their students
… an alliance of school-community coalitions committed to an equitable, just society can shift education and sustain neighborhood well-being.

ASP provides schools and their local partners with consulting services, professional development workshops, 1:1 coaching, resources, and tools in support of our three pillars:
Community Responsiveness | Curriculum Integration | Institution Alignment

"...the institution must see itself as a citizen with a responsibility to its neighbor."
- Anchor Institutions Toolkit: A guide for neighborhood revitalization, The Netter Center for Community Partnerships, The University of Pennsylvania
