Brian Wells has a diverse work experience in the legal and finance industry. Brian is currently working as a Director of Commodities and Commodities Counsel at Anchorage Capital Group since May 2023. Brian also worked as a Business Finance & Restructuring Associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges from January 2012 to April 2017. Brian gained experience in the legal field through their role as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein at the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts from September 2010 to August 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges in May 2009. Earlier in their career, Brian served as an Intern for the Honorable Chuck Hagel in the United States Senate from January 2007 to July 2007.

Brian Wells attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, KS from 1998 to 2002, where they received their High School diploma. Brian then went on to attend the University of Southern California from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued dual Bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences and Creative Writing. Subsequently, Brian enrolled in the University of Virginia School of Law from 2007 to 2010 and earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, specializing in Law.
