Alex Goodman

Alex Goodman has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Alex is currently working at Anchore as a Tech Lead since April 2020. Prior to that, from October 2019 to March 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Prefect.

Before joining Prefect, Alex worked at Excella for three years and eleven months, starting in October 2016. During their time at Excella, they held the position of Lead Consultant & Software Engineer. Their notable achievements include winning key technical proposal competitions, improving CI pipeline lead time, and creating tools to manage large-scale multi-repository projects.

Before Excella, Alex worked at ARINC as a Software Engineer for almost six years, from January 2011 to October 2016. Alex developed a robust set of software tools and evaluated alternative high-availability clustering software during their tenure.

Alex's career started with an internship at the Center for Power Electronics Systems from June 2009 to December 2010, where they developed a software application and a web form for research materials.

Prior to their internship, they also worked as an intern at TORC Technologies from May 2007 to August 2008. During this time, they drafted a proposal for a collaborative online testing environment and helped develop a test harness to shorten production testing time.

Alex Goodman has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. Alex further pursued their education in the field of Computer Science and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from The Johns Hopkins University from 2013 to 2016.
