Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is the current Chief for Next at AND Digital. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer for corfinancial from April 2008 to December 2018. Before that, they were the Director for Qedis from January 2004 to January 2008, and Partner - Global Public Services for Unisys from January 2003 to December 2004. Arthur Andersen Business Consulting was their previous company from January 1999 to January 2003 where they held the title of Country Managing Partner. Datatec Limited was another one of their previous companies from January 1995 to January 1999 where they were the Group Marketing & Strategy Director. The dti (Department of Trade and Industry: Republic of South Africa) was their previous company from January 1994 to January 1996 where they were the Chief Director. Stellenbosch University was another one of their previous companies from January 1992 to January 1996 where they were a Senior Lecturer.

Andrew Smith earned their PhD in Economics from UFS. Prior to that, they completed their MCom in Economics from the University of Natal. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Economics from the University of Natal.
