Cavin Rowayi is an environmental conservationist, archaeologist, and community development leader with over 10 years of experience in GIS-informed projects, cultural heritage protection, and environmental education in Botswana. Currently serving as a National Board Member for the GEF–Small Grants Programme and the Founder of Green Habitat Botswana, Cavin focuses on empowering communities through environmental education efforts that have reached over 2,000 participants. Previously, Cavin worked as a Resident Archaeologist at Geoflux Pty Ltd, managing archaeological compliance for major projects, and has held various roles in mapping and environmental assessment throughout their career. Cavin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, Environmental Science & Archaeology from the University of Botswana.
