Jay Bregman is the co-founder and CEO of Andel, a membership service and pharmacy benefit platform that aims to make life-changing drugs more affordable. They founded Hailo and served as CEO from 2010 to 2014, building a network that connects passengers with licensed taxi drivers; Hailo raised over $100 million in funding and was sold to Daimler, later rebranding as MyTaxi and then Free Now. They founded Thimble in 2014, serving as CEO for Hiring and later as President; Thimble was acquired by Arch Insurance in April 2023. They founded eCourier.co.uk (2003–2011), which was sold to the Royal Mail, grew to £6M turnover, built an enterprise technology platform servicing over 40,000 decisions per month, and raised more than £8 million in financing. Their education includes a Bachelor's in Philosophy with Honors, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College (1997–2001); studied Philosophy and Politics at the University of Oxford in 2000; earned a Master's in Media & Communications Regulation & Policy from the LSE (2003–2004) with Merit; and is pursuing a Master's in Communication and Media Studies at LSE.
