Umar Isa

Umar Isa is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and system architecture. Currently at Andela since January 2022, Umar has implemented modern RESTful API architecture following CQRS, DDD, and event-driven development principles, as well as established a robust messaging queue using RabbitMQ. Previously, Umar held senior engineering roles at Access Bank Plc and GTBank, where contributions included designing high-performance technology solutions and maintaining scalable system architectures. Earlier roles include an Application Developer position at Forex Access and a Web Development Internship at Colab, alongside foundational experience as a Student Worker at NIIT Technologies Limited. Umar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ahmadu Bello University, obtained in 2016.
