Marisa Escolar

Marisa Escolar serves as the Senior Manager of Content Strategy at Anders since August 2024, focusing on developing content strategies for a high-growth financial services firm while managing a team of content creators. Since January 2019, Marisa Escolar has also operated as a writer and content coach, collaborating with thought leaders to create impactful publications. As an author, Marisa Escolar published a monograph titled *Allied Encounters: The Gendered Redemption of World War II Italy* through Fordham University Press in 2019. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2013 to 2018 and Lecturer and Language Coordinator of Italian at UC Berkeley in 2012-2013. Marisa Escolar holds a Ph.D. in Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature & Creative Writing from Columbia University.
