Doug Schmidt

Doug Schmidt is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in both direct and indirect tax management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax at Andersen Corporation since August 2019, Doug has previously held the position of Manager of US Indirect Tax at Medtronic from August 2015 to August 2019. Prior to that, Doug worked at CliftonLarsonAllen in State and Local Tax from March 2015 to August 2015 and as a Tax Manager at Andersen Corporation from March 2011 to March 2015. Doug's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Minnesota, an MBA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas, and ongoing pursuit of a Certificate in Tax Executive Taxation through the UMN Carlson School of Management.
