John W. Nelson

John W. Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies. Currently serving as the Director of Lean Six Sigma at Andersen Corporation since May 2018, John leads a nationwide team that has generated over $20 million in annualized savings and manages the Lean Six Sigma Belt Program. Previously, John was a Sr. Continuous Improvement Manager at Land O'Lakes, where responsibilities included implementing corporate strategies and managing a budget for substantial project savings. Additionally, John has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Tail Slap Brewing Company and has held various roles in marketing and process consulting at institutions such as Ameriprise Financial Services and American Express. John holds an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Management and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
