Mathew Hoffman, MBA has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles related to information technology and analytics. Mathew is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Andersen Corporation, where they lead technology teams for functions such as Enterprise Data & Analytics, Enterprise Automations COE, and Research, Development and Innovation Collaboration Dev. team. Mathew is also actively involved in AW's STEM Employee Resource Group, supporting and encouraging growth in STEM fields.
Prior to this, Mathew worked at UnitedHealth Group as the Director of Product Analytics for Optum Analytics, leading the Agile Scrum Transformation for multiple development and product teams. Mathew also served as a program manager and product owner for a portfolio of five software application products.
Before joining UnitedHealth Group, Mathew held the position of Professional Services Manager / Technical Team Lead at MicroStrategy, where they led a global team of consultants and ensured timely delivery of projects related to enterprise BI & Analytics.
Mathew also has experience working as a Program Manager and Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions, where they managed the delivery of consulting services for Target Corporation's Stores reporting group and provided career development opportunities for consultants.
Mathew started their career as a Business Intelligence Developer and Consultant at eCapital Advisors, designing and implementing BI solutions for clients using IBM's Cognos. Mathew also worked at IBM as an Associate Project Manager and at Best Buy as a Computer Sales Senior and Employee Experience Event Coordinator.
Additionally, Mathew has gained valuable experience through internships at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Minnesota and Northwestern Mutual, where they focused on business development and financial representation, respectively.
Mathew Hoffman holds a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of St. Thomas, which they obtained from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed an MBA in Business Administration from the same university between 2010 and 2014. Mathew'sundergraduate degree is a BA in Business Management, which they earned from the University of St. Thomas from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in 2020, and MicroStrategy Certified Developer from MicroStrategy in 2014. Mathew also holds an IBM certification as a Developer - Cognos 8 BI Scorecards, obtained in 2010. In 2022, Mathew participated in the Next Generation Leader program from the InspireCIO Leadership Network.
