Nickyia Cogshell

Nickyia Cogshell has a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Nickyia is currently serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Andersen Corporation since November 2020. Before that, they worked as the Interim Statewide Director of Recruitment, Retention, and Affirmative Action for the State of Minnesota from June 2018 to November 2020. Prior to their role in the State of Minnesota, they held the position of Chief Diversity Officer at Century College from January 2008 to May 2018.

Nickyia Cogshell holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. Nickyia also has additional certifications, including the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) from IDI, LLC and the Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity (SEED) Facilitator certification from Wellesley Centers for Women, Wellesley College.
