Jake Anderson

Jake Anderson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 with an internship at Morgan Stanley in wealth management. Jake then worked as a financial analyst intern at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in 2012. In 2013, they joined General Mills as a financial analyst and remained there until 2017. Currently, since 2016, they are the co-founder and head of business at Anderson Optimization, where they specialize in renewable siting, power system analysis, and renewable energy valuation using cutting-edge technology and optimization models. Their responsibilities include valuation of power generating assets, optimization modeling and programming, large-scale root-cause analysis, and providing direction to modeling and optimization teams.

Jake Anderson earned their Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota, where they completed their studies from 2009 to 2013.
