Cory McOmber

Cory McOmber has a wealth of experience in the business and finance industry. Cory began their career in 2010 as a World Cup Coordinator Assistant in the U.S. Department of State's Public Affairs Office. In 2012, they took on a Fund Accounting Intern role at Capital Group. In 2013, they had internships at Deloitte and the PCAOB, where they worked in the Office of Research and Analysis. Cory then worked as an Acquisitions Analyst at Peak Capital Partners. From 2014 to 2017, Cory worked at Cornerstone Research as a Senior Analyst and Analyst. During this time, they managed and collaborated with project teams to perform economic, financial, and data/statistical analysis for Fortune 500 clients. In 2017, they joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Consultant and Senior Associate. In 2021, they interned as a Hedge Fund Equities Investment Analyst at Atika Capital Management LLC. Currently, Cory is the Director of Business Development at Andes STR, an award-winning Proptech company dedicated to providing investors turnkey access to Short Term Rental real estate properties as an asset class.

Cory McOmber has a diverse educational background. Cory obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2014, having studied there from 2005 to 2014. Cory then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Accounting from the same institution, which they completed in 2012. In 2020, they began studying for a Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School, as well as an MA in International Studies, Asia (Mandarin Chinese) at The Lauder Institute - University of Pennsylvania, both of which they are expected to complete in 2022. Cory is also a 2016 Level II Candidate in the CFA Program.
